The Aputure NOVA 9º 2x1 is a high-output, lensed LED panel designed to replicate the 
power and precision of natural sunlight in a compact, portable form factor. Featuring 
an ultra-tight 9º native beam angle and a BLAIR chipset, the NOVA 9º 2x1 delivers 
exceptional long-throw performance, enabling filmmakers to project crisp, directional 
beams and hard shadows across great distances with remarkable intensity and 
control.
At its core lies Aputure’s advanced BLAIR color engine, a five-diode architecture that 
blends Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, and Red emitters for extraordinary spectral 
reproduction. This chipset achieves ultra-high color accuracy (CRI/TLCI ≥95, SSI 
89/86) and precise white point control across an expansive 1,800K–20,000K CCT 
range, with full ASC MITC ±G green-magenta adjustment. The result is unparalleled 
flexibility for matching ambient sources, enhancing skin tones, or creating sunlike 
color rendition with extended red response.
With a native beam angle of just 9º, the NOVA 9º 2x1 focuses its output into a 
powerful, concentrated shaft of light that maintains intensity over long distances, ideal 
for simulating sunlight through windows, using with reflectors, or achieving defined 
shadow edges and specular highlights. Even when paired with its included flat 
diffusion panel, it retains exceptional punch and smooth luminance distribution for 
controlled softness.
Engineered for scalability, the NOVA 9º 2x1 can be stacked in multi-light yoke 
configurations to form large, directional arrays capable of recreating hard daylight 
effects at 10 meters or more. Sharing the same dimensions and QuickClip frontmounting ecosystem as the NOVA II 2x1, it offers full accessory compatibility and a 
removable yoke for flexible rigging in studios, truss grids, or on-location builds.
Built for professional reliability, the NOVA 9º 2x1 features IP65 weather resistance, dual 
output modes (Max and Constant), four DMX-controllable fan modes, and a smooth 
0.1–100% dimming range for precise exposure control. Its interface and connectivity 
options meet modern production standards with Sidus Link®, Sidus Link Pro®, 
DMX512 16-bit in/out, CRMX, and Art-Net/sACN. 
With a high output-to-weight ratio (19.65 kg / 43.32 lbs), durable weather-sealed
